St. Innocent Church

Our parish held her first service on Pentecost Sunday, 1996. The community grew quickly and was able to purchase a proper temple in the fall of 1996. This place of worship, built in 1884, is the oldest in Eureka and known as “the first Church.” St Innocent’s parish in Eureka has a close historical and spiritual connection to Alaska’s missionary saint, and strives to continue his work for the Gospel and Church of Jesus Christ is California’s majestic northwest.
