On Christmas 1994 the first Holy Liturgy in Romanian was served with the blessing of His Grace, Bishop Nathaniel in Grand Rapids by Archimandrite Roman Braga, helped by the nuns of Holy Dormition Monastery in Rives Junction, MI.  In March 1995, the Mission was established under the name of “SS Constantine and Helen.”  In August 1996, following the indication of Bishop Nathaniel, the Mission changed its name to “Annunciation.”On August 1, 1996, Fr Alexandru Partioc was appointed Priest.  On July ...
