In the late 90’s Archbishop Job blessed local Orthodox in Quincy to begin saying Reader Services. Under the sponsorship of St. Joseph’s Orthodox Church (Wheaton, IL) the mission station met in various locations and was served by various priests until 2004, when Archbishop Job granted the growing Quincy community mission status under the patronage of the then recently glorified St. Raphael of Brooklyn.In 2005 Fr.
