O Virgin, we sing praises of the gifts of your protection, * which you have extended like a bright cloud ineffably, * invisibly protecting us your flock * from enemy invasions and attacks. * We have you as ardent helper and mighty guard, * and therefore we cry out to you: * Glory to your divinely mighty deeds! * Glory to your protective veil! * Glory to the care you have for us, O immaculate one!
